Dr. O.B Akinola Birthday Celebration

Dr. O.B Akinola
Dr. O.B Akinola is a father to us, a mentor to many, it wont be wrong to say that he is a wonderful friend to most of us in CLASFON Agbani.   In fact his apartment is a second home to us in Nigerian Law School Enugu.
This pinnacle of hope, a father of three and a husband to a beautiful wife, was hugely celebrated on Wednesday 29th of March, as he marked his birthday.
His surprise birthday celebration, packaged by Winners Campus Fellowship (WCF) in collaboration with Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) was great.
It started with
a thanksgiving service at WCF auditorium.
We danced, praised God and jubilated like never before in the presence of God, thanking Him for Dr. Akinola; a wonderful gift to our generation.

From a heart of Joy our erudite lecturer, poured out blessings upon us declaring that none of us will repeat bar exams; that as he wrote it once so shall it be to us all.
Dr. Akinola left for his home at least to thank God and rest for the day, not knowing more surprises await him at home. That he only realized when he was greeted with happy birthday shouts from leaders of WCF and CLASFON, waiting patiently for him in dark; as he walked into his home and turned on the light. It was all glorious as he got more gifts, cut more cakes and we had merriment together, with him.
In conclusion, we thank God for his servant Dr. O.B Akinola, whose faithfulness and commitment to our well being, spiritually and otherwise is well appreciated. Always willing to teach, guide and pray for us, just as a father does for his children. Our prayer is that the good God will keep on upholding him and his family, blessings and increase them in every ramification of their lives

We admire this epitome of hard work and diligence. Truly, he inspires us all.
We love you sir.

Lets Save the Future

I have been persuaded for some time now, to write on this. I strongly believe someone out there needs to hear this. One thing about being successful in warfare is adopting the right strategy; that a strategy brought success yesterday is not a guarantee that it will bring success today. Modifications are necessary to meet contemporary challenges. It is no longer news, that there is a serious battle, going on between light and darkness. Though we wrestle not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), our authority in Christ suffices to give us victory. Unfortunately the church is distracted: worldliness has crept in; and young people are the worst hit.
